She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Arlene Leighty; and her siblings, Paris Hester and Mary Paulin. She is survived by: her husband Donald Leighty; her sons, Jeff Leighty of Danville and Brad Leighty (Jill) of Fishers, IN.; and her grandchildren, Anne Leighty of Denver, CO., Katherine Shattles (John) of Indianapolis, IN. and Jack Leighty (Emily) of Grand Rapids, MI..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Sunset Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834).
