With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Sanders of Danville, Illinois, born in Rossville, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of JoAnn Sanders to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cunningham and Madlyne Cunningham (Goldman); her daughter Renee Strader; and her brothers, Hubert, Dale Cunningham and Jene Cunningham.

She is survived by: her children, David Rethelford (Kathleen) of Amelia Island, Mark Rethelford of Summerfield, Timothy Sanders (Sally) of Danville, Illinois, Linda Smith (John) of Danville and Lisa Craighead of Champaign, Illinois; her grandchildren, David Norman of Washington, Dustin Rethelford (Ashley) of Yulee, Derek Rethelford of Bethalto, Samuel Sanders of Danville, Jason Smith (Meagan) of Saint Joseph, Ryan Smith (April) of Bismarck, Amber Strader of The Villages and Aubrey Ackerman (Brian) of Coco, Florida; and her niece Gayle Grider (Dwyane) of Cayuga. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
