John Anderson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Anderson of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis and Joanna Edna Anderson (Mutton); his wife Donna Kay Jaynes; and his siblings, Joanna Rush and Jim Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Howard of Danville, IL, Michelle Cheuvront (Chuck) of Tilton, IL, Brenda Miller (Todd) of Danville, IL and John Anderson (Tina Himes) of Alvin, IL; his grandchildren, Tabitha Thatcher, Christopher Lewellyn (Taylor), Aaron Lewellyn (Laura), Elizabeth Howard, Jacob Howard (Emma), Jeremy Cheuvront (Megan), Brandy Huckstadt (Kyle), Jacob Miller, Lucas Miller (Skylar), Carter Miller and Cassidy Lock (Austin); and his nieces, Mary Jo Polson of Hoopeston, IL and Vicki Whiteman (Steve) of Stafford, VA.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandsons; 8 great-granddaughters; and one more great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Rich to Bismarck United Methodist Church.
