He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd D. Hershberger and Rosemarie Hershberger (Walker); his grandparents, Myrd, Maude Hershberger (Darnell), Charles and Louise Walker (Prendergast); and his sister-in-law Sally Hershberger.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Neild (Smart); his stepchildren, Benjamin Neild (Jami Norman) and Brenda Robinson (Randall); his stepgrandchildren, Piper Jones, Rory Robinson, Elijah Norman-Neild, Charles Norman-Neild and Gabe Norman-Neild; his siblings, Edward Hershberger, Thomas Hershberger (Shelley), Karen Gardner (Rick) and Jenifer Lewis (Earl); and his sister-in-law Lynn Bean (Richard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
