He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie King and Birdia King; and his son Terrance King. He is survived by : his daughter Michelle Tate; his son-in-law Antione Tate of Richton Park, IL; his grandchildren, Amber King of Austin, TX, Aniyah Tate of Richton Park, IL and Antione Tate II of Richton Park, IL; and his sister Ivory Jean Tate of West Memphis, AR.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and even dubious "nieces and nephews".
