He was predeceased by : his close friend Greg Meehan. He is survived by : his children, Michelle "Jerre" Daily, Jackie Pope, Mark Neff, Sherry Roberts (Randy) and Spencer Meehan (Amy); his grandchildren, Blake Meehan, Cole Meehan, Trey Clore and Mary Jane Pope; his sisters, Gloria McKinzie (Jerry), Ann Stuckey (Steve) and Pam Blackburn; his pet Buffy; and also Jock.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations in his name may be made out to ASPCA or St. Jude.
