He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Pintar and Sophia Pintar (Stimac); his son Jason; and his stepson Bradley Carter. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Betty Lou Vacketta; his wife Betty; his stepdaughter Marta Fearon (Mark) of Chicago, IL; his stepgrandsons, Trevor Fearon and Derek Fearon; his brother Roy Pintar (Violet) of Georgetown, IL; his nephew Brad Pintar (Julie) of Mahomet, IL; and his nieces, Cathy Knoblett (Shane) of Indianapolis, IN and Stacy McKinney (Jason) of Apison, TN. He is also survived by cousins and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be offered in Joe's name to Champaign-Urbana Carle Foundation Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute or St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church of Georgetown, IL.
