He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lynn Foley; his sons, Jeffrey Holst (Shawn) and Joseph Holst; his grandchildren, Brian Holst, Brandon Holst (Olivia), Whitney Jones and Madison Reffett (Austin); his sister Louise Grimm; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Foley and Bill Grimm.
He was a Red Cross blood donor since he graduated high school and was very disappointed when he could no longer donate due to his health.
