We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2025, at the age of 97, Lois Maxine Edgington (Danville, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Maxine Edgington to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Schofield and Lillian Schofield (Custer); her husband Gordon; and her siblings, Stanley, Don Schofield, Judith McCullough (Schofield) and Joyce Penka (Schofield).

She is survived by: her brother James Schofield (Deniece); her daughters, Gayle Tuttle (Jeff) and Ann Newton (William); and her grandchildren, Ben Tuttle (Sara), Christy Hurd (Jeremy), Katie Tuttle, Ryan Tuttle (Silvana), Eric Newton (Cherith) and Kyle Newton (CeAnn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to the Mission Fund at First Baptist Church, 1211 N Vermilion, Danville, Illinois.
