It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Ruth Sanks of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Anders and Ruth Peyton Anders; her husband Sheldon "Bud" Dean Sanks; her son Christopher P. Sanks; and her siblings, Royce, Melvin, Richard, John and Ollabelle.
She is survived by: her children, Mikel P. Sanks of Danville, Illinois, Linda J. Volkel (Jim) of Perrysville and Shelly Eggimann (Jerry) of Naperville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Angellinda, Mikel P. Jr., Cory, Rachel Sanks, Ryan Stitt, Lara Walker, Amanda Bush, Thomas John Walker (Jennifer), Tyler, Tanner Sanks, Hayley, Kelsey Eggimann, Katey Hall and Sammy White; and her brother Chris. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
