She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bernard and Dorthea Bernard (Hackney); and her husband Donald R. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jay Scott Smith (Dena) of St Charles, IL and Cheri Wysong (David) of Pana, IL; her daughter-in-law Doris Smith of Ashmore, IL.; her grandchildren, Tashya Smith, Nicole Ocampo (Jairo), Jessica Smith, Jordan Wysong (Stephanie), Hannah Leathers (Martin), Taylor Smith (Kayla), Elaina Smith (Ian Armstrong) and Audrey Smith; her great grandchildren, Teresa, Jayde, Grace, Rydr, Alexis, Elliana, Evelyn, Quinn and Elara; and her great great grandchild Paula.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society in Danville where she adopted her beloved Lucy.
