She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Angela King; and her godchildren, Budd and Suzan Winkler. She is survived by: her former husband Charles Jones; her husband Percy Wilkins; her children, Karen Jones-McKissack, HannaGale Hardimon (Ricky), Phillip Wilkins and Charles Wilson (Verna); and her grandchildren, Kimberli McKissack-Robertson (Aryah), DeShawn McKissack, Claude McKissack Jr., Van Hardimon (LaQuita) and Vinson Hardimon.
