With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mattie Kiger (Danville, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Brown; and her sister Barbara Allison (Russ). She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Hoagland (Steve), Rosemary Brown and Melissa Kiger; her grandchildren, Alexis Carrier (Andrew), Doug Hickman (Aly), Maggie Mendez (Jorge), Zachary Hoagland, Natalie Kiger, Alana Kiger, Ezekiel Cardenas, Josh Dixon-Kiger and Dylan Kiger; and her caregiver Eliza Johnson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
