He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Porter-Hurt and John Bromley; and his brothers, George, Bobby and Paul Hurt.
He is survived by: his friend Daisy Ford (Rufus Forrest); his son William Bell; his significant other Alice Donald; and his sisters, Mary Morton (Bobby) and Cora Jeanette Carter (Bishop Sam).
