He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Smith Jr. and Helen Lucille Fleming Smith; his daughter Lashanna Stanford; and his siblings, Dorothy Mae Young, Melvin Lewis and George S. Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, Larhea and Omar Ahmad of California; and his siblings, Connie Smith of Champaign, IL., Stephanie Rice (Richard) of Danville, IL., Christa Young of Evansville, IN., Lloyd Smith (Donna) of Danville, IL., Michael Ray Smith (Magdaline) of Lafayette, IN., Floyd E. Gaines of Fort Wayne, IN. and David Gaines of Urbana, IL.. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
Muhammad Ahmad passed this life at 11:55 am February 5, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana IL.
