He is survived by: his parents, Mykah BriAnn Abernathy and Blaton Joseph Lee Appelman; his grandparents, Jake Rusk, Jessika Abernathy (Paul Bishop) and Tamara Appelman; his great-grandparents, Delbert, RoseAnn Story, Cyndie Byers Wakeland, David Rusk II (Tracy) and Mary Kay Remschneider; and his uncles, Cameron Kemper, Jayce Rusk, Blayce Rusk, Jazmyn Stabler, Kaydence Rusk (Natalie Stabler), Chelssy Stabler, Justin Appelman (Mariah Appelman) and Joey Appelman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
His time with us was brief, as he departed this world on December 4, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital.
