He was predeceased by: his parents, Orick Manning and Mildred Winfield Nightlinger Sr.; his brothers, Carl J. Nightlinger, Blaine Nightlinger and Gary Nightlinger; his grandchildren, Jacob Manning Burow and Kandi Lynn Bray; and his niece Merry Christina Conrad.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Shaw; his daughters, Kitty Dangcil (Jay), Kimberly Nightlinger-Bray (Don), Krystal Nightlinger, Kelly McMasters (Bill) and Kerry Rippon (Troy); his nieces, Dolores (Michael Marx) and Michelle Rice; his grandchildren, Chastity Burow-Catney, Amanda Richards, Heather Nightlinger, Sarah Nightlinger, Kacie Henry and Chase Rippon; and his great grandchildren, Grace Catney, Gavin Catney, Danica Richards, Emily Richards, Callan Richards, Hannah Richards, Cooper McLaughlin, Oliver Galbreath and Wade Nightlinger.
