With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orlis Love Sisson in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Orlis leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlis Gordon (Parsons) and William McKinley Gordon; and her husband Lawrence George Sisson. She is survived by: her children, George Monroe Sisson, David Lee Sisson and Kathleen Anne Smith (Sisson); and her foster child Danville.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Atherton Cemetery (2132 Perrysville Rd, Danville, IL 61834).
