She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hartzel and Dorothy Hartzel (Barred). She is survived by: her husband Carl Joe Compton; her sons, Robert Compton (Carey) of Chenoa, IL and Joseph Compton (Karena) of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Tammy Stambaugh (Tim) and Ron Champion (Joyce); and her grandson Eliyahu Compton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
