He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Boyer and Josephine Boyer (Grovier); his wife Kara; his stepdaughter Kristin Bernard; and his sister Cindy Henchen.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan Boyer (Kayla), Matt Boyer (Rachel Wisdom) and Jennifer Carpenter (Marc); his grandchildren, Jaxsen Carpenter, Lilly Carpenter, Anna Boyer, Julius Boyer, Callie Boyer, Kylee Boyer, Emma-Leigh and Gabby Binkley; and his siblings, Juliann Binkley, Linda Kiger and Freddie Boyer. He is also survived by friends.
