It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Long of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allen Long and Stella Mae Long (Cundiff); and his siblings, Phyllis Joanne Wolfe and Michael Long. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his daughters, Karen Gross (Jeff) and Lori Smith (John); and his sister Judith Vandiver. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
