She is survived by: her children, Tracy Turner (Chad) of Mahomet, Brandon Bowman (Kristen McCune) of Monticello and Cory Bowman of Danville; her parent Verna McGehee (Patton) of Danville; her grandchildren, Brayden Turner (Caroline Harrison) of San Francisco, CA, Laney Turner (Madison Yocius) of Pittsburgh, PA, Aubrie, Aspyn, Ava and Adley Bowman of Monticello; her sister Nancy Broom of Eastland, TX; her niece Bessie Garcia (Gilbert) of Eastland, TX; her boyfriend Bob Parr of Oakwood, IL; and her cousins, Dan and Maryann Warden of Janesville, WI.. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Sharmaine Bowman passed this world peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 14, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital.
