We bid farewell to Sherrie E. Laird of Danville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2025 at the age of 69. Sherrie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Doux and Shirley Le Doux (Hansbrough); and her son Daniel William Laird. She is survived by: her husband William Laird of Danville; her children, Jason Laird of Cape Coral, FL and Amanda Rose Drude (Josh) of Danville, IL; her grandchildren, Kyler, Madison, Macey, Grayson, Makinnley, Logan, Gage, Noah, Owen and Evan; her great grandchild Carter; and her siblings, Randy Le Doux (Kathy), Danny Le Doux, Bradley Le Doux and Anita Howie (Phil).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
