She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Edington and Thelma Edington (Menges). She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Martin of Danville, IL; and her children, Cathy Kinney (Bruce) of Danville, IL, Jeff Broderick (Tami) of Decatur, IL, Lisa Creed (Loyd) of Danville, IL, Mike Martin (Kathy) of Bismarck, IL, Beth Lappin (Pete) of Danville, IL and Lynn Cook (Jason) of Clinton, IN. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren with one on the way and one great great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sunset Funeral Homes & Memorial Park (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834).

Memorials may be made in Sherrill's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
