It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J Gibson of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Otis and Virgie Bell Hathaway (Holycross); her husband Don of Arcola, IL; her siblings, Opal DeWitt (Lealon), Francis and Russell Hathaway (Ann); her brother-in-law David Bell; her son-in-law Robert J. Davis; and her stepgranddaughter Stacey Smith (Schultz).
She is survived by: her children, Donna S. Davis of Westville and Kevin Gerard (Patricia) of Oakwood; her sister-in-law Sally Bell (David); her grandsons, Justin Davis (Michelle) and Lance Davis (Kristen Mitchell) of Westville; her stepgrandchildren, Christine Anglemyer of Catlin and Timothy Schultz (Jamie) of Bismarck; and her great grandchildren, Hayden and Drew Davis. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
