With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Lynn Gabel of Darien, Illinois. Barbara, born on July 31, 1946, passed away on August 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Barbara for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Caravassos and Peter Caravassos. She is survived by: her children, Jason Gabel (Sybil) and Allison Buntrock (Daniel); and her grandchildren, Alexander, Leo and Dorothea Broniecki (Dennis). She is also survived by loving nieces and their families; cousins; and many dear friends.
