With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Riegler (Darien, Illinois). Barbara, born on June 14, 1959, passed away on October 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, Brad (Melissa), Brian (Danielle) and Brett (Lauren); her grandchildren, Olivia, Leah, Hayden, Harper, Evelyn, Eleanor and Luke; her sister Ann Hult; and her mother Barbara Sterning.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Modell Funeral Home (7710 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Barbie loved to sew and knit, and she shared that gift generously, donating hats, scarves, and other handmade items to hospitals and people in need.
