She is survived by: her brother Edward Nowak (Judy); her husband Gregory Lopatka; her grandchildren, Mike Lopatka, Amanda Lopatka, Jeff Lopatka (Abbey), Michelle VanDuser (Kyle), Michael Spillman, Grace Lopatka, Audrey Lopatka and Luke Lopatka; and her great grandchildren, Carmela Lopatka, Lennie Lopatka, Teagan Lopatka, Rylee Lopatka and Hailey VanDuser.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Modell Funeral Home (7710 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
