She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sachs and Celia Sachs; and her sister Virginia Kielma. She is survived by: her husband Sam; her children, Debra Lopatkiewicz (Fred) and John Nakis; and her granddaughters, Cassandra Nakis and Madeline Wood (Sean).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Modell Funeral Home (7710 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
