She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry Kowalewski; her child LeEllyn Mendez (Oscar); her parents, Helen Jacobs and George Jacobs; her stepfather Anthony Tumpis; and her brothers, George Jacobs and John Tumpis.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Lechantre (JC) and Jerome E. Kowalewski; her grandchildren, Gail Maszka (Brian), Christopher Tovar, Carlos Mendez and Stacy Bohacek (Peter); and her great grandchildren, Kalib Maszka, Vicente Tovar and Braydon Maszka.
