He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Yunker and Lucille Yunker (Edwards); his wife L. Marilyn Jenkins; and his son Bryan. He is survived by: his son Charles; his daughters-in-law, Susan Yunker and Debbie Yunker Smith; his grandchildren, Jason Yunker, Sandy Vanderberg, Rachel Cole and RaeLynn Vanderhoof; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Maggie, Aubrey, Aiden, Teagan, Taryn, Mia and Violet.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 11:00am in Clarendon Hills Cemetery (6900 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561) Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
