He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Novak (Sobran) and Charles "CJ" Novak. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Cheryl Paladino (John) and Christine Whitehead (Corey); his grandchildren, Maddison, Jillian, Benjamin and Parson; and his sister Lynn Simantz (Donald).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Modell Funeral Home (7710 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561). A prayer was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Scholastica Church (7800 Janes Ave, Woodridge, IL 60517).
