He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Pietrus and Walter Pietrus. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Michael (Lucy), Daniel (Colleen) and Victoria (Brenton); his grandchildren, Lincoln, Henry and Theodore; his brother Robert (Debbie); and his niece Nikki.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Modell Funeral Home (7710 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
