She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Peterson and Celia Peterson (Zoboroski); her husband Eugene Lucas; and her close friend Arlin Zimmerman. She is survived by: her children, Karen Spearing (Mike Sawatzki) of Ivins, UT and Randy Lucas (Debbie Reppen) of Davis, IL; her grandsons, Branden Lucas (Rayna Bradley) of Tampa, FL and Jared Lucas of Chicago; and her great grandchild Luna Lanae Lorraine Lucas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fred C. Olson Chapel (1001 2nd Ave, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
