He was predeceased by: his parents, Candido Molina and Josephine Molina (Martinez); and his father-in-law Gary Dean Ray. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ray-Molina; his children, Brandon Howell and Brenda Gannon; his mother-in-law Julie Ray; his siblings-in-law, Dean Ray (Rose) and Sheila Ray; and his caregivers, Kiaundra Clark, Nicole Harris, Shawna Bradley and Jenn Collins. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to David's wife, Melissa to assist with on-going expenses.
