She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Olin Duvardo and Frances Marie Duvardo (Hartman); and her husband Clifford Dietz. She is survived by: her daughters, Sara Whitehead (Chad), Becky Cook (Travis) and Julie Biggers (Mark); her brothers, Jerry Duvardo (Paula) and Bruce Duvardo (Cathy); her brother-in-law Larry Dietz (Marlene); and her grandchildren, Addison, Ember, Vivian and Bradford Cook.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Indian Hill Cemetery.
The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions may be made to Indian Hill Cemetery and/or the De Soto Grade School.
