He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Auvil and Megan Auvil; and his sister Ellie.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Renaissance Church (432 N Water St, Decatur, IL 62523). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family urges donations be made in Arty's honor to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St Louis, where they were generously housed for the duration of his hospitalization.
