He is survived by: his wife Ruby Mathews; his daughter Nichelle "Nikki" Steele; his granddaughters, Morgan Tindal (Blake) and Maci Hicks (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Hudson and Hadley Tindal; his sister Beverly Mathews; and his aunts and uncles, Rosie Creekmur, Lloyd Creekmur, Lee Creekmur, Dale Creekmur, Mary Creekmur Ethington, Ferne Creekmur Bellatti (Arthur Creekmur), Frank Mathews, Jim Mathews, Bob Mathews and Vincent Mathews.
