It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley Lofland of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ashley Lofland to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Rick Schoon; and her grandparents, Duane, Lorna Schoon and Paul Tripp. She is survived by: her mother Susie Schoon (Tripp) of Decatur; her son River Lofland; her grandmother Violet Tripp of Shelbyville; her sisters, Emily O'Connell (Adam) of Mt. Zion and Kelly Noblitt (Tim) of Azle, TX; her siblings' children, Riley, Everett, Conley and Lainey; and her caregivers, Diana and Rosa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church (2155 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
