She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Edward Payton and Kathryn Matz Payton; her husband Virgil Deemer; and her children, Jeffrey Deemer (Kim Beals), Gregory Deemer (Laurie) and Kathleen Deemer McIntyre. She is also survived by three sisters, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
