She is survived by: her boyfriend James Palmer; her son Michael Gardner; her grandchildren, Yasmeen Gardner and Yondrea Gardner; and her siblings, Larry, Darrel, Delbert, Ronnie, Sharron and Janis.

She enjoyed thrifting, learning new things, charity, and giving to others less fortunate.
