She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cassidy and Goldie Belle Cassidy (Sapp); her husband Robert Gordon; her son Robert Gordon II; and her siblings, Charles Cassidy, Robert Cassidy and Viola Fuqua.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara "Bobbie Jo" Purdeu of Decatur; her grandchildren, Cassidy Gordon (Rick Nutter), Andrew Gordon, Danielle Turudic (Edmund), Jordan Purdeu and Jenna Purdeu; and her sister-in-law Nancy Cassidy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526).
