She is survived by: her sister Clara Coe of Milwaukee; and her children, Carmen Thomas (Marlon), Hazel Jelks (Willie), Marcus Meriweather (Tallauanh), Markita Portee (Wayne), Tyrise Bond of Decatur, IL and Tyrone Smith (Christi) of Durham, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and lifelong friends.
