Shelley; her husband James Gentry; her siblings, Lynn, Nel and Lori; her children, Shalako Hines, LeRico Hines and Tinoai Cotton (Hines); her grandchildren, Beonika Cotton, Brittani Cotton, Michael Hines, Kristian Hines, Tameka Cotton, Devante'Ambrose, Shatria Hines, Nandia Doll-Hines, Shyla Hines, Lyric Hines, Ky'rah Hines, Gabryelle Wilson-Spence (Ahsaan) and Shariah Hines; Leslie C. Hines. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
