He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Myron and Mary Sudduth. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Whalen and Kara Whalen (Pittman) of Decatur; his children, Dallas Krietemeyer of Decatur, Elizabeth Krietemeyer (Justin) of Decatur, Austin Russell of Mt. Vernon and Louie Russell of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Khylin, Corbin and Kyler; and his sisters, Amanda Durnil (Tom) of Argenta, Kenaka Belcher (John) of Decatur and Kate Eagler (Kristin) of Decatur. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Celebrate Recovery Program at Moundford Free Methodist Church.
