She was predeceased by: her father Oliver Mechtoldt; her husband Sammie Johnson; her mother Betty Jane Simpson; her son-in-law Eddie Anderson; and her stepdaughters, Debbie Vasquez and Tricia Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughter Diana Streibich Anderson of Decatur; her granddaughter Heidi Trendler (Josh) of Forsyth; her stepgrandson Doug Anderson (Heidi) of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Jared Anderson (Emily) of Madison, IN, Camden and Caroline Trendler of Forsyth; her siblings, Nancy Johnson of Decatur, Wally Mechtoldt (Marcy) of Chatham and Tommy Mechtoldt of Decatur; her stepchildren, Melinda Gibson of Quincy and Aron Johnson of Decatur; and her stepgrandchildren, Alyssa, Samantha Vasquez, Tad Johnson, Jay, Josh Gibson, Amanda Wagy, Gage, Evan and Alex Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She loved us and she gave us her best until Alzheimer's stole it away... took her future plans and her memory but some of us won't forget.
