Carrol Sperry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 78, Carrol Sperry of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carrol Sperry to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Carrol farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carrol is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sperry and Dorothy Sperry. He is survived by: his wife Donna Sperry of Decatur, IL; his children, Kent Sperry (Christina Sperry) of Mt. Zion, IL and Kara Nihiser (Shannon Nihiser) of Decatur, IL; and his sisters, Dora Carter of Decatur, IL and Norma Weisser of Morton, IL.. He is also survived by five grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Passion Community Church (4225 Camp Warren Ln, Decatur, IL 62521). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
