He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Leeroy Brawner and Lavieta Mae Brawner (Black); his sons, Jesse E. Thompson of Decatur, IL., William R. Best of Decatur, IL. and Dustin T. Brawner (Mikalia Cunningham) of Decatur, IL.; his grandchild Ciara Thompson; and his siblings, Phil Brawner (Theresa) of Florida, Joyce Umfleet of Arizona and Pam Jack (Myron) of Decatur, IL.. He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.
