She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Long and Anna Long; and her husband Dean. She is survived by: her children, Allen, Stanley Dixson, Cathryn Howard (Tim) and Marilyn Cearlock (Eric).

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service (2442 IL-121, Decatur, IL 62526). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Macon County Memorial Park (5700 W Main St, Decatur, IL 62522).
