He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Dean Braun and Betty Jean Braun Augenstein; his stepfather Wayne Clinton Augenstein; and his brother Joseph Wendell Braun. He is survived by: his wife Janiece Braun of Decatur, IL; his sons, Joseph Wayne Braun (Gina) of Decatur, IL and Patrick Dean Braun (Amy) of Decatur, IL; and his grandchildren, Calin Andrew Braun, Callie Nicole Braun and Jak Mason Braun. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Decatur Church of God (4500 W Main St, Decatur, IL 62522). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
